Metal Frame Construction is one of Ireland’s leading modular construction companies. We have been creating high-quality builds using Light Gauge Steel (LGS), in Ireland and the UK for almost twenty-five years.
By utilising Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and LGS Technology we are able to deliver quality builds with low lead times and reduced carbon costs.
We believe in using MMCs to improve the construction industry. By leveraging the advantages of modern technologies and processes we can make more sustainable and affordable homes, schools, medical facilities and even industrial and retail spaces.
What We Do
We use Light Gauge Steel to create functional and aesthetically beautiful buildings to the specifications of our clients.
Our engineers create detailed drawings to meet the needs of the client. Once designs have been finalised we work closely with the client’s architects and engineers to ensure consistent quality.
Throughout the entire process, we do what we can to stay green. 75% of our steel is recycled and 100% of our scrap steel goes on to be recycled. Our improved construction methods and materials allow us to create incredibly thermally and energy-efficient buildings, regularly achieving the highest BER ratings.

Picture Perfect Finish
We use a variety of cladding finishes to give all of our builds the perfect aesthetic. By using cladding we cut down on the time and resources required to achieve the desired look, without giving up quality.
Cladding also helps to improve insulation and protects the internal structure in harsh weather conditions. Ensuring a durable and aesthetically pleasing construction.
Most cladding that works with traditional methods also work with Light Gauge Steel. Some of our most popular include, natural stone, brick, cedar and plaster, but we can do much more!
